Monica A. Sinawa

Monica is a seasoned finance and administration professional with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit financial management, auditing, policy development, and human resource oversight. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Kenyatta University and has participated in extensive professional training in USAID rules and regulations, QuickBooks, financial management, and HR systems.

Since joining OLPS in 1999, Monica has been instrumental in building and maintaining strong financial structures to support the organization’s growth and accountability. As the Finance and Administration Lead, she oversees budget development and compliance, financial reporting, donor relations, asset management, and internal controls. She ensures that OLPS meets both statutory and partner expectations with integrity and transparency.
