ABOUT ME

Mrs. Mildred Gimonge is a passionate advocate for women’s and children’s rights, with a longstanding commitment to protecting and empowering vulnerable populations. She currently serves as a Children’s Officer with the Directorate of Children’s Services, Kenya, where she supports child protection, family tracing, reintegration, and case management across public systems.

At OLPS, Mildred brings her deep expertise in child welfare and gender-responsive programming to the Board, where she plays a key advisory role in shaping initiatives that directly benefit women and children. She also guides the alignment of OLPS’s internal policies with national and international standards on child protection and women’s rights.

Her voice on the Board strengthens OLPS’s capacity to uphold dignity, safety, and opportunity for all, especially for those most at risk.
